Consider a 3D game. First player shooter. Graphics comparable to Unreal Tournament or Quake 4 or Doom III. It also involves hours of gameplay.
And it has a size of a mere 96 kilobytes !!! And Yes, this is True. (Even the size of the screenshot below is 76 kilobytes)

The entire loading of the game is done in the beginning which takes about 5 minutes.
Once loaded the game runs at it’s best.
Although there are some compatibility issues with some hardware. The game runs fine for me on Windows Vista with an ATI Radeon Graphics Card.
Everything you see in .kkrieger is procedurally generated at the beginning, in the “loading” Phase. There are neither stored images nor stored geometry in the executable file, everything you see is generated procedurally.
The technology used by them is Procedural Texturing.

There also something called DemoScene, which include intros and demo; all 3D,animated with funky sountracks, in a size of mostly 64kb.
One more cool thing about the site is that there is also a 170kb 3D animated video called .debris, having a runtime on 7minutes, complete with a groovy soundtrack.

The “official” minimum specs for .kkrieger: chapter 1 beta are:
- A 1.5GHz pentium 3 / athlon or faster.
- 512MB of RAM.
- A GeForce4Ti (or higher) or ATI Radeon8500 (or higher) graphics card supporting pixel shaders 1.3, preferably with 128MB or more of VRAM.
- Some kind of sound hardware.
- DirectX 9.0b.
